Job Title: Digital Transformation Engineer

Description:

  • Achieve seamless integration of operational technology systems with enterprise IT systems to boost productivity.
  • Implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions using Ignition SCADA.
  • Develop secure data exchange protocols using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA for efficient information sharing.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production needs.
  • Provide technical leadership in Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing SCADA deployments to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies.
  • Expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
