ServiceNow ITAM(SAM) Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITAM(SAM) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ServiceNow solutions and be able to design, configure, and customize ServiceNow SOM module as per organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Conduct workshops, interviews, and meetings to comprehend and document business requirements and functional needs.
  • Process Design: Define and design ServiceNow solutions tailored to meet specific client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between existing processes and desired future-state processes, recommending solutions and improvements.
  • Solution Implementation: Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Documentation: Create user stories, process documentation, training materials, and other relevant documentation to support implementations.
  • Training and Support: Provide post-implementation support, training, and guidance to users to ensure successful adoption and optimization of the platform.
  • Business Value: Articulate the business value of proposed solutions and demonstrate how ServiceNow can improve business operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 12 years of experience in implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
  • Good understanding of Sales and Order Management process followed in organization.
  • Experience in designing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow SOM module as per Organizations SOM process.
  • Extensive experience across the ServiceNow core platform, security, performance, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

  • Implementing or architecting ServiceNow solutions.
  • Understanding of Sales and Order Management process.
  • Designing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow SOM module.
  • Third-party integration (REST/ SOAP/Others).
  • Collaborating with teams to understand requirements and pain points.
  • Conducting workshops and training sessions.
  • System testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
