Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of VFC drawings and designs to ensure code compliance and identify redundancies in member design
  • Coordinate effectively with other disciplines to resolve design issues and explore options for improvement
  • Prepare and communicate technical review comments to consultants
  • Organize project schedules and provide proactive technical support to the manager
  • Verify quantities against budgeted indices before issuing drawings to site
  • Contribute to the development of processes, design review procedures, and templates
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, processes, and guidelines
  • Organize project design review documentation, check prints, and review comments to consultants

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of ETABS, STAADPRO, and SAFE software
  • Experience in efficient utilization of structural analysis/design software
  • Proficiency in MS-Excel for quick post-processing of computer analysis/design output
About You
