Database Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team.

  • Must have a degree in any field, preferably BE/Btech/MCA/BCA.
  • Must have 6-12 years of experience with strong core DBA skills in Oracle 18c/19c, including database creation, user management and memory management. Also, experience in backup/recovery is essential.
  • Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Data guard, performance tuning and load balancing is required.
  • Experience in Real Application Cluster (RAC) and installation/maintenance/support of production and development environment is necessary.
  • Exadata and Golden Gate experience is an added advantage.
  • Database upgrade experience is also required.
  • Unix skills and experience on Cloud IaaS infrastructure are must-haves.
  • Ready to work in shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain databases.
  • Manage user access and permissions.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • UG: B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization, BCA in Computers.
  • PG: MCA in Computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced in data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
