We are seeking a dynamic team member to join our database administration efforts. This role focuses on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise relational database platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Administration: Provide database administration support for development, test, and production environments.
  • Security & Recovery: Administer security access controls and perform necessary security patch implementations.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Recommend and implement automation opportunities for operational work and process improvements.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with technical leads on database design decisions to ensure applications have high levels of performance and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience administering SQL Server Database and related services and monitoring systems.
  • Demonstrable experience automating database provisioning, patching, and administration.
  • Experience with various DB toolsets for performance review, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of ITIL frameworks and standard methodologies.
  • Understanding of operating system tools for performance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting SQL Server Always on Availability Groups is preferred.
  • Experience leveraging Ansible for automation is a plus.
  • Experience supporting PostgreSQL databases is a plus.
  • A Master's degree with experience, a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience, or a Diploma with a substantial background in Information Systems and Database Administration.
