This position is based within our Global Shared Services Centre in Noida, India. As an Order Management Specialist, you will provide order fulfillment account management for our India market by partnering with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Credit and Collections to provide the highest level of service from order acceptance to delivery to both internal and external customers.
You will work in a fast-paced and challenging environment that rewards innovation, perseverance, and hard work.
Your Responsibilities
- Book customer purchase orders daily in SAP and manage orders through the system and associated queries efficiently.
- Collaborate with key departments on order backlog, prioritization, and compliance with company policies.
- Process email Purchase Orders from end users through Salesforce and SAP promptly.
- Retrieve orders from partner portal and process into SAP effectively.
- Verify pricing against customer contract or approved discount matrix accurately.
- Verify availability of product and coordinate with Purchasing to determine lead times when supply is not available proactively.
- Exercise discretion to prioritize product allocations when supply is not available responsibly.
- Provide inside sales support, including interface with Customer Master Data, Credit, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales timely.
- Process customer returns and credit note requests in a timely manner consistently.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and lead times promptly.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and respond in a timely manner professionally.
- Consistently review backlog to ensure compliance with company booking policy diligently.
Requirements

- Strong system skills, including Microsoft Office proficiently.
- Preferred: ERP system, SAP and Salesforce system expertise.
Education and Experience Required
- BS/BA degree in business administration required.
- 4+ years of experience with account management and customer service in a high-tech environment necessary.
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of international trade principles and possibilities essential.
