Leadership Role in Microfinance

Job Overview

  • To ensure optimal performance and minimal delinquency in disbursements.
  • Identify high-potential client groups and suitably allocate loans to match target customers and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a growth strategy by leading a team across assigned territories to increase market penetration and reach.
  2. Assess the potential client base and product acceptability in new areas, identifying opportunities for geographical expansion.
  3. Manage disbursements, repayment, and delinquency effectively, meeting daily and weekly collection targets.
  4. Monitor portfolio quality by tracking normal dues, nonstarters, delinquency, and frauds.
  5. Establish strong relationships with clients and build a robust brand identity among potential customers.
  6. Conduct regular meetings and visits to centres.

Requirements:

  • A maximum of 5 years experience as a sales officer in microfinance business.
  • Basic understanding of microfinance business and Joint Liability Group model would be preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Effective relationship management and business sourcing.
  • Strong flair for sales.
  • Understanding of critical customer service attributes.
