We are seeking a skilled linguist to fill the role of Japanese Language Specialist, playing a crucial part in our team's success. This position involves providing high-quality translation services, ensuring seamless communication across cultures and languages.

About the Role

The Japanese Language Specialist will be responsible for working with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional language support, leveraging their expertise in Japanese language skills and experience in help desk operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Linguistic Skills: Possess excellent Japanese language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking abilities at N2 level, enabling independent participation in Japanese meetings and effective communication.
  2. Help Desk Support: Provide technical support and resolve issues related to software applications, hardware, and other IT-related topics, while coordinating with stakeholders and prioritizing tasks for efficient ticket resolution.
RequirementsMandatory Requirements
  1. Proficiency in Japanese language (N2 level) for reading, writing, and speaking.
  2. Ability to work on Japan time zone.
  3. Experience in Help Desk & L1 support operations (ticket triaging & coordination with stakeholders).
Desirable Qualifications
  1. ITIL certification.
  2. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Willingness to learn new technologies.
  5. Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow.
