Primary Responsibilities:- Design and Execution of Synthesis Routes: Develop and implement efficient synthesis routes to target organic compounds using theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles.
- Purification and Characterization Methods: Perform purification and characterization of organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges, effectively communicating results and observations.
- Staying Current: Stay updated with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry to contribute to the development of novel methodologies and technologies.
- Education and Experience: PhD / Master's degree in organic chemistry or a related field, or evidence of exceptional ability, and 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles, hands-on experience with organic synthesis, purification, and characterization methods, proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
