About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Designer to join our team. As a Visual Designer, you will play a critical role in defining and enhancing the visual communication across all our products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers and engineers to create illustrations, iconography, micro-interactions, and animations that improve user experience and product communication.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and maintaining visual design guidelines and standards across products.
  • Collaborating with the Design team to design and evolve design components, patterns, and guidelines within our Design System.
  • Creating illustrations, iconography, micro-transitions, and animations to improve product communication with end users.
  • Ensuring a high level of consistency and craft across all user interfaces, while incorporating animation and motion design.
  • Facilitating design planning and critique sessions to ensure alignment with product goals and visual consistency.
  • Proactively communicating updates and unblocking Designers and Engineers during the design implementation process.
  • Staying up-to-date with platform-specific design trends and helping drive innovation in product visuals.
  • Building strong relationships with front-end engineers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs.
What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a UI/Visual Designer, with a portfolio showcasing your work in UI design, illustrations, and animations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and platform-specific design patterns.
  • Experience working with design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Deep knowledge of UX principles, design patterns, and user research methodologies.
  • Ability to think creatively, with attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality visual solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
