Role Summary:

We are looking for a talented 2D Visual Designer who is passionate about crafting compelling visual identities for events. This role is pivotal in creating cohesive and engaging event visuals, including logos, invites, and the entire look and feel of the event experience. The ideal candidate will bring concepts to life through unique design elements that align with event themes, elevating the visual impact and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

  • Designs resonate with the event theme and client objectives, creating a memorable and cohesive visual experience.
  • Logos, invites, and collateral maintain a strong brand identity, appealing to the target audience.
  • Visuals and concepts enhance the overall event experience, from the initial invitation to the final wrap-up.

Role in the Organization:

The 2D Visual Designer works closely with the creative and production teams to shape the visual narrative of each event. Reporting to the Creative Lead, this position plays a key role in defining the look and feel that aligns with client vision and elevates the event’s aesthetic impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Logo and Brand Identity Design
  • Design unique and memorable logos that embody the event’s theme, brand, and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain visual guidelines for each event, ensuring cohesive branding across all design elements.
  • Event Visual Design
  • Create eye-catching invites, digital and print collateral, and other key visuals that set the tone for each event.
  • Design and iterate on concepts for the event’s look and feel, collaborating with the team to ensure visual consistency.
  • Concept and Theme Ideation
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ideate and conceptualize event themes, contributing innovative ideas for visual storytelling.
  • Ensure all visual designs reflect the event theme and deliver an impactful experience to attendees.
  • Asset Creation and Production
  • Work on the end-to-end design process for various materials, including posters, banners, digital ads, and other assets required for the event.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure high-quality, print-ready files are delivered within deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, ideally within events or experiential marketing.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), CorelDRAW, or other design tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing logo design, branding, and event-related visuals.
  • Strong conceptual and visual ideation skills, with a keen eye for detail and layout.
  • Ability to take a client’s vision and translate it into visually compelling graphics that align with the event's objectives and theme.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Additional Skills:
  • Strong communication skills to present ideas effectively and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of design trends and the ability to adapt designs to different event themes and audience preferences.
