Web Applications Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in web applications and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business analysis processes, web-based applications, testing, and quality assurance (QA) methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and testing for web applications. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, document business requirements and test for web applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are met and properly tested.
  • Define and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web applications.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify and document defects, working with developers to resolve issues.
  • Assist in system integration testing and ensure proper deployment of web applications.
  • Analyze user feedback and suggest improvements for better user experience (UX).
  • Create process flows, wireframes, and use case diagrams as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards in web applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4 to 8 years as a Business Analyst in web application projects.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in software testing, including functional and UAT testing.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, databases, and APIs.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Selenium (preferred), or other testing frameworks.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
