Job Title: Functional Consultant - Supply Chain Management

We seek an experienced professional with expertise in Oracle SCM functional consulting to excel as a key member of our team.

  • Translate business objectives into technical action items and refine them for successful implementation.
  • Configure Oracle SCM applications including Inventory, PDM, Demand & Supply Planning, Shipping, and Transportation Management.
  • Conduct thorough functional analysis, application gap analysis, and prepare comprehensive design documentation.

As a Functional Consultant, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and mitigate risks. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring security and compliance with company policies for confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business analysis, requirements gathering, and scope definition with stakeholders.
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements and refine them into actionable items.
  • Configure Oracle SCM applications.
  • Conduct thorough functional analysis and application gap analysis.
  • Support business users by clarifying project requirements for development teams.
  • Validate feasibility of user requests against system capabilities and data structures.
  • Provide expert data analysis using SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure security and compliance with company policies for confidential information.
  • Research and recommend innovative SCM technology solutions.
  • Lead or mentor functional/technical teams as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle Applications Consultant or System Analyst/Manager.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle ERP Application functionality.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain processes and Oracle Cloud framework.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries and SDLC methodologies.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in managing or leading teams is a plus.
