Job Title: Control Management Specialist

This role involves leading complex initiatives to mitigate business-specific risks. You will engage in proactive risk identification and assessment, recommending improvements by providing expertise in control design.


You will be responsible for ensuring the effective development and maintenance of the business control environment through the execution of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment program.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing new controls, identifying gaps, and assisting with corrective action plans
  • Gathering and analyzing data to understand issues, assessing metrics, and monitoring the health of the operational risk environment
  • Monitoring, measuring, evaluating, and reporting on the impact of decisions and controls

Additionally, you will support the business with implementation of control programs, provide consultative guidance, and ensure that control issues are proactively identified and addressed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in technology risk and control management
  • Strong knowledge of risk control self-assessment methodologies, risk frameworks, and technology risk management practices
  • Excellent facilitation and coordination skills, with ability to engage cross-functional teams

Skills required include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, effective communication and stakeholder management skills, and a demonstrated knowledge of Technology and Security risk framework.


Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or equivalent are highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is also preferred.
