Accounting Executive Job Description

  • This accounting executive role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage month-end close activities in accordance with accounting standards.
  2. Conduct in-depth Balance Sheet and P&L reviews to maintain financial integrity.
  3. Perform Quarterly flux analysis and provide insights on variances.
  4. Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and resolving queries.
  5. Partner with finance teams to manage financial interdependencies.
  6. Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and both internal and external requirements.
Process Improvement & Team Leadership
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Drive operational efficiency and implement best practices in financial processes.
Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders for seamless coordination.
Governance & Compliance
  • Implement effective risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting & Analysis.
  • Expertise in Month-End Close processes.
  • Proficiency in Asset Accounting.
  • Experience in Process Optimization.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CA or CPA certification in Internal controls and SOX compliance.
  • Big 4 experience (3 to 5 years).
  • Non-Big 4 CA with similar industry experience (5 to 8 years).
  • Sound knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Results-oriented team player with strong initiative and flexibility.
