Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Job Description:
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The position involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing accurate financial statements, and coordinating audits to maintain high standards of financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable/receivable, ledger management, and reconciliations to ensure timely payments and accuracy
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to stakeholders
- Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and comply with all statutory requirements to minimize risks and maximize efficiency
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits to maintain transparency and accountability
- Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to inform business decisions
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions to improve performance
- Maintain strong internal controls and improve financial systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and auditors to resolve issues and build relationships
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff to develop their skills and expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (B.Com/M.Com)
- CA or MBA Finance preferred
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in accounting/finance; experience in an educational or training institution is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and other tax regulations
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
