Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As an expert in infrastructure engineering, you will lead the technical direction of our infrastructure projects and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members on infrastructure-related matters
  • Consult with customers to understand their product stack and provide tailored solutions
  • Drive technical discussions and stand-ups for key deliverables
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and develop automated solutions to reduce effort
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to listed technologies
  • Leverage expertise in AWS Cloud, DevOps, and pipeline management using Github actions
  • Utilize Python language for automation and scripting
  • Maintain knowledge of file transfer protocols, including FTP, FTPs, SFTP, S3 & Connect:Direct
  • Stay aware of end-to-end transfer architecture, DMZ, load-balancer, and firewall basics
  • Plan, coordinate, and apply patch/upgrade of FTP software's to latest/required level
  • Cordinate and perform OS & DB maintenance activities
  • Manage certificate lifecycle, including CSR generation, issuance, implementation, and validation
  • Respond to service requests and user fulfilment related to provisioning, deployments, assistance, etc.
  • Provide on-call support for priority issues
  • Understand vulnerabilities and fix them according to security guidelines
  • Perform Disaster Recovery operations
  • Coordinate audit requirements and fulfill them accordingly

About You:

You should have 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in infrastructure engineering, cloud computing, and DevOps. Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AWS, GoAnywhere, and MFT tools are must-haves. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
