Job Description

The Senior Financial Accountant role involves responsible management of key tasks including vendor coordination, supplier reconciliation, and client communication. The position also entails review of financial reports, tax returns, and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Vendor coordination to ensure timely payments and refunds.
  • Supplier reconciliation performed by AA.
  • Client communication to obtain missing vendor bills and approval.
  • Preparation of weekly AP reports and process of vendor payments and allocation in books.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.

  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform various responsibilities including:

  • Coordination with vendors regarding payments, refunds, and vendor reconciliations.
  • Update of supplier reconciliation portal.
  • Communication with clients to obtain missing vendor bills and approval.
  • Preparation of weekly AP reports and process of vendor payments and allocation in books.
  • Review of vendor reconciliation performed by AA.
  • Chasing W9 from vendors and preparation of 1099 workings.
  • Tax return reconciliation.
  • Review of sales entries on a weekly basis.
  • Review of sales tax and prompt tax working file and preparation of use tax calculation.
  • Preparation of CRT/TPT/8027 and other county tax returns.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Respond to emails within a timely manner (48 hours).
  • Delivery of AP reports to clients in a timely manner.
  • Meet internal month-end closing deadlines (financials) in a timely manner.
  • Training new team members and assisting them with settling into their roles.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and systems.
  • Be open to learning new processes and taking on new roles as assigned.
  • Attend all internal training and development sessions for personal and business growth.
