Electronics Engineer - Imaging Systems

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our team and lead the development of high-voltage design, mixed-signal systems, FPGA development, and timing control for our Scanning Electron Microscope.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that requires expertise in beam control, data acquisition, and power integrity. As our first Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the Timing and Synchronization Backbone, building Mixed-Signal Boards, maintaining Clean Power and Grounding/Shielding, and providing Diagnostics and Fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-voltage systems, including beam control drivers and detector front-ends.
  • Implement mixed-signal boards for data-acquisition and robust control I/O.
  • Maintain clean power and grounding/shielding to ensure quiet images and strong EMC behavior.
  • Provide diagnostics and fixtures for easy issue debugging.

Requirements:

  • A track record of shipping mixed-signal/FPGA systems in instruments, vision, or semiconductor/robotics gear.
  • Strong bench skills with scopes, analyzers, and bring-up experience.
  • Pragmatic about testability and manufacturability.
  • Ability to collaborate and document work.
