Senior Electronics Design Specialist

We seek a skilled and innovative Senior Electronics Design Specialist to join our team in designing and optimizing Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs. As a key member of the design team, you will utilize your technical expertise to create reliable, efficient, and high-performance PCBs that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed PCB layouts and designs using industry-standard tools.
  • Create comprehensive hardware design documents covering analysis, notes, and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transfer of design information from schematic to physical PCB design.
  • Analyze electrical considerations like signal integrity, power integrity, ID, mechanical integrity, EMC-EMI, safety, and manufacturing industry specs.
  • Design and develop high-performance/bandwidth PCBs aligned with efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Manage PCB documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files.
  • C coordinate and approve PCB layout.
  • Prepare BOM and fabrication documentation following revision control procedures.
  • Test and bring up PCBs and auxiliary electronics.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Design, Electronics Engineering, Embedded System Engineering, ECE, or ETC.

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience using two or more PCB designing tools.
  • Familiarity with KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools.
  • Understanding of PCB failure modes and reliability in extreme environments.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Fundamentals of digital and analog circuit design.
  • Logic/board debug and analytical skills.
