Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage our General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making. Your expertise in accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP will enable you to consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely month-end and year-end GL closing activities.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform inter company reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions.
  • Manage and maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary.
  • Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.
  • Work closely with the FPA team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA) with minimum 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
