Our company is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund-level accounting, financial reporting and analysis, and portfolio company oversight.">

As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for managing fund-level accounting while supporting portfolio company oversight. You will work closely with senior accountants, CPAs, and partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Close and Full-Cycle Accounting: Run monthly close and oversee full-cycle accounting in QuickBooks or similar, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements, highlighting key variances and trends.
  • Support for CPAs and Partners: Assist CPAs on tax prep, filings, and fund administration, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Portfolio Company Oversight: Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flag variances, ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple industries.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 Years of Direct Fund Accounting Experience: Strong background working with private equity, private debt, or fund admin required.
  • US GAAP and Multi-Entity Consolidations: In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidations, with ability to apply principles to complex scenarios.
  • Revenue Range: Background working with companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range, with understanding of financial metrics and analysis.
  • CPA Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred, with strong understanding of taxation and regulatory requirements.
