About the Role

As a Product Owner for the Open API platform, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our API products. You will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis of business processes within the hospitality domain, identifying opportunities for 3rd party integrations through technology and APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring the Open API platform meets user needs and market demands.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that development teams have a clear understanding of the requirements and priorities.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality API products that meet customer expectations and drive business growth.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into product development.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Open API platform, making data-driven decisions to enhance product performance.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation is available for users and internal teams and provide training and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on API products or platform development and hospitality.
  • Strong technical background with a good understanding of APIs as well as practical experience in APIs, software development, and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing product development cycles and working with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and translate them into successful product features.
