Manual Testing Expert

We are seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual testing.

You will work closely with developers and product teams to identify issues and ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
  • Perform regression testing and ensure that fixes are verified and validated before release.
  • Participate in test planning and review meetings to provide input on test design and approach.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail, Quality Center).
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform database testing.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
