Job Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Tester

responsible for evaluating software to identify and resolve defects. The role ensures that products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user stories and requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated tests on software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using established tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand issues and ensure effective resolution.
  • Participate in regression testing to validate changes and updates.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience 2 - 4 years in software testing (manual or automated).
  • Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira.), version control system (e.g., Git), Other effective tools for testing.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Requirements:

Strong attention to detail with an eye for perfection in identifying inconsistencies, anomalies, and deviations from expected behavior.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C, C++).
