We are seeking a Manual Product Tester to evaluate and validate our products before release. You will test features, log defects, and ensure functionality, usability, and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who pays close attention to detail, thinks like a user, and can collaborate effectively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs with detailed steps.
  • Track reported issues until closure and verify fixes.
  • Test across different devices, browsers, and environments.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to align product quality with business needs.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent experience.
  • 0–2 years (entry-level) or 2–5 years (mid-level) experience in manual testing.
  • Strong knowledge of QA concepts, STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), and defect life cycle.
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.).
  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
  • Basic understanding of databases and ability to run simple SQL queries (optional but preferred).
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to API testing tools like Postman (basic level).
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git).
