Electrical Engineers play a vital role in designing and constructing industrial facilities. The job involves overseeing the installation of electrical equipment, materials, and ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently.

About the Role

This position requires a professional with experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, Power Plant, and Petrochemical sectors. A Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory, along with a minimum of 5+ years of engineering experience in these fields.

Responsibilities
  • Design main electrical equipment and materials.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Conduct Hazardous Area Classification with designer support (2D drawings only), Panel schedules (Power and Lighting), Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control Schematics.
  • Manage MTO/BOM, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray and Trench sizing Calculations.
  • Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipment's (TRANSFORMERS, SWITCHGEARS, GENERATORS, BUS DUCTS, UPS, CAPACITORS, CATHODIC PROTECTION) and Bulk Materials(Cables, Trays, Lighting and Grounding materials).
  • Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipment's and Bulk Materials & TB Tabulation preparation.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines involved.
  • Demonstrate flexibility as required.
  • Awareness and commitment to health, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Engineering vendor data management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of other disciplines.
  • Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Knowledge of electrical calculation software (ETAP, SKM, Digisilent, Dialux).
  • Experience as electrical site engineer.
