Operational Procurement in Business Services focuses on managing end-to-end transactional procurement process, improving process reliability and service level, increasing overall quality and automation, and capturing value on key focus areas.

Job Description:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
  • Perform transactional activities of Operational Procurement (Spot buying/PR to PO/Vendor master data/Helpdesk service, etc.)
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation through to order fulfillment.
  • Reporting expertise to extract reports from as per requirements from Business.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Communicate promptly with internal/external customers/concerned groups regarding inquiries.
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain operational compliance on all regulatory, internal/external guidelines, and support audit activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • Business experience with 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience and strong negotiation skills.
  • SAP module knowledge and experience required.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.

  • Drive process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage procurement operations, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests.
  • Develop reporting expertise to support business needs.
  • Cultivate effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
