Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to oversee and manage the operations of our spirits manufacturing plant.

The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in managing complex operations within the alcohol or beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership
    • Oversee all plant operations, including manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, safety and environment, logistics, procurement, and finance.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Manage budgeting, equipment selection, cost control, and plant commissioning.
    • Drive production and sales targets as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
    • Formulate and implement strategies to meet annual business objectives.
  • Process Optimization
    • Enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
    • Establish and enforce SOPs for safety, quality, and security of workforce and machinery.
    • Optimize resource utilization across departments.
  • Quality & Maintenance
    • Maintain in-process quality control and ensure continuous process improvements.
    • Oversee preventive maintenance, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Vendor & Compliance Management
    • Identify and develop vendors; manage supplier relationships.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including country/state excise laws, and other statutory authorities.
  • Projects & Capex
    • Lead new capital expenditure projects and expansion initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & HR
    • Build and lead high-performing teams aligned with company goals.
    • Manage industrial relations, labor issues, recruitment, orientation, and training.
  • Government Liaison
    • Maintain smooth relations with government departments and facilitate all necessary liaisoning for seamless plant operations.
