Job Title: Lead Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our legal functions related to litigation, land laws, and society formation.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Maharashtra land laws, RERA regulations, and real estate litigation. They will be responsible for managing and representing the company in consumer and RERA litigation, conducting legal due diligence on land records, coordinating contract drafting and review with legal consultants, and overseeing formation and registration of societies/associations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and represent the company in consumer and RERA litigation
  • Conduct thorough legal due diligence on land records and support joint venture deal structuring
  • Coordinate effective contract drafting and review with external legal advisors
  • Oversee successful formation and registration of societies and associations
  • Provide strategic legal advisory services on documentation, property transfers, housing loans, stamp duty, etc.
  • Represent the company in legal hearings and dispute resolutions
  • Key Performance Indicators:
  • Timely resolution of complex legal cases
  • Accurate and comprehensive due diligence
  • Effective execution of contracts
  • Successful establishment of societies and associations
  • Strong internal legal advisory and compliance management
  • Positive outcomes in litigation and arbitration matters
  • Internal & External Collaboration With:
  • Internal Teams: Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Projects, Finance, Liaison, Property Management
  • External Partners: Legal Firms, Solicitors, External Lawyers, Customers, Society Representatives

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
  • Experience: 9+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in litigation, contract drafting, and real estate law
  • Skills:
  • Profound knowledge of Maharashtra land laws, RERA regulations, and real estate litigation
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and advisory capabilities
