Key Responsibilities:

  • Main objective is to lead comprehensive project budgeting, including high-level cost estimation, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Analyze and approve budget proposals from project teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial strategies.
  • Create and oversee the master schedule to ensure accurate establishment and tracking of project baselines.
  • Closely monitor financial progress of projects, including tracking of expenditures and performance against budgets.
  • Implement real-time budget monitoring systems for proactive cost management.
  • Analyse BOQs across projects to optimize cost efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee financial performance reporting for senior management.
  • Identify potential risks and implement controls to mitigate budgetary risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering heads, purchase and site teams.
  • Approve major financial documents in line with budgetary approvals.
  • Guide and mentor the budget and planning team.
  • Develop budgeting frameworks and best practices to improve accuracy and accountability.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Must have minimum 12-15 years of experience in budget management, cost control or financial planning within real estate, construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong background in project budgeting, BOQ analysis and cost forecasting.
  • Familiarity with budgeting tools and project management software.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex project budgets.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering / Finance / Quantity Surveying; MBA or professional certifications.
