Job Title: Performance Management Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled performance management leader to join our team. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving business success by implementing effective performance management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Performance Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing the performance management system across the organization. They will work closely with senior leaders to align business and people performance, and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework

The candidate will be responsible for developing BSC-based scorecards at organization, department and individual levels, and defining SMART KPIs across all four BSC dimensions: financial, customer, internal processes and learning and growth. They will also generate dashboards and BSC reviews to support strategic decision-making.

  • Appraisal and Review Management

The successful candidate will lead monthly, quarterly, annual and mid-year performance review cycles, drive calibration and moderation processes across departments, and ensure objectivity, consistency and linkage of performance to rewards.

  • Goal Setting & KPI Cascading

They will work with functional heads to set and align KRAs/KPIs based on the BSC, and ensure cascading of goals from corporate to individual levels through a structured process.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting

The candidate will provide monthly and quarterly MIS on performance metrics, analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities, and partner with L&D to link performance outcomes to training and development.

  • Employee Development & Talent Decisions

They will enable succession planning, HiPo identification and role readiness mapping using BSC insights, and leverage HRMS tools to digitize and track performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on performance management and balanced scorecard implementation. They should have experience working in a similar role, and possess excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Requirements:
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute
  • 8-12 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on performance management and balanced scorecard implementation
  • Industry preference: electronics, industrial automation, engineering or manufacturing
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in BSC, PMS modules of HRMS systems, Excel, analytics and dashboard tools
Behavioural Competencies:
  • Strategic thinking and execution capability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage dual reporting and multiple business expectations
Preferred Attributes:
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying BSC in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data for leadership use
  • Comfortable working in matrix organizations with cross-functional dependencies
