Purchasing Executive Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Procurement professional to manage the end-to-end procurement of electrical items.

The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.)
  • Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules
  • Purchase Order Review: Review and interpret SLDs and BOQs to ensure purchases align with project needs
  • Procurement Record Management: Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Team Leadership: Team player with leadership qualities
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Success Metrics (KPIs):

  • Timeliness of deliveries against PO timelines
  • Cost savings achieved through negotiations
