Network Engineer III - Telecommunications Specialist

This role involves providing advanced technical support for a leading telecommunications provider. As a Network Engineer III, you will be responsible for troubleshooting complex network issues and delivering high-quality telephony and hardware support.

About the Role
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with GTD-5 switches
  • Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support
  • Interface with customers and vendors to resolve network problems
  • Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement
  • Document internal processes and mentor other engineers
Requirements
  • At least 5 years' hands-on experience with GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting
  • Experience with call processing and translations
  • Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance
  • Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively
  • Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
