Senior Risk Professional

This role is a key position within the investment management organization, responsible for identifying and mitigating various types of risk.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement risk management strategies, including analyzing potential risks and evaluating investment portfolios.
  • Evaluate existing risk mitigation measures and suggest enhancements where necessary.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, ensuring effective communication of risk considerations.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications such as FRM, CFA highly valued.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in risk management within an investment management or financial services organization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in using risk models, quantitative analysis, and stress testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Investments/Analytics background.
  • Prior experience in Wealth Management, Mutual Funds, PMS, or Alternate Investments.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools.

This position requires a deep understanding of risk management concepts, regulatory requirements, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
