Technical Equipment Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering, at least three years of experience in laboratory equipment repair and troubleshooting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel across the country for customer visits.
- Provide field service support for laboratory equipment
- Respond to breakdown calls in a timely manner
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and manage expectations effectively
- Prepare monthly reports on service performance
- Monitor repairs and maintenance activities for operational efficiency
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns/issues
- Publish and maintain service documentation
- Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, and certification of units
- Develop effective relationships with customers and provide hands-on training
About the Role:
This role is responsible for providing exceptional field service support to our clients. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and make any necessary repairs
- Respond to customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure ongoing business growth
- Conduct regular site visits to assess and improve service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least three years of experience in laboratory equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
