Job Summary

At our esteemed organization, we are seeking an exceptional Static Equipment Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless implementation of reference standards and specifications related to static equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in international design codes, with a particular emphasis on ASME, API, TEMA, and WRC. In addition, they should be well-versed in 2D CAD software and have experience in designing pressure vessels.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving and analyzing contractual documentation, highlighting anomalies and critical issues
  • Ensuring the implementation of reference standards/specifications relating to static equipment (EN 13445, ASME DIV.VIII, SPEC. IOGP, etc.)
  • Acting as project specialist leader for assigned projects
  • Defining and planning methods for developing engineering disciplines, including defining engineering documents and preliminary activity programs
  • Executing or supervising the overall process of defining specifications for pressure vessels, starting from material requisitions and mechanical datasheets following design (FEED)
  • Technical evaluation of bids, preparation of technical tabulations, and supplier follow-up
  • Providing timely updates to PEM and PE project managers regarding any deviations and variations
  • Participating in project coordination and verification activities
Requirements
  • Work experience in the layout of plants and pressure vessels for the O&G industry
  • In-depth knowledge of international design codes (ASME, API, TEMA, WRC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and recommended practices for static equipment
  • Ability to outline design packages
  • Familiarity with follow-up phases, even if from vendors
  • Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical
  • Knowledge of at least one of the PV Elite or Compress programs
