Accounting Executive Job Description:

The role of an Accounting Executive/Cashier is pivotal in managing financial transactions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to identify outstanding accounts, generate bills and invoices specific to customers, and reconcile all payments with invoices.
  • Generate sales orders after understanding customer requirements and deliver invoices via digital and traditional services.
  • Reconcile all payments received, including cash, debit/credit cards, online payments, and unified payments interface (UPI), and manage petty cash.
  • Regularly update receivables specific to customers and address customer inquiries addressing problems.
  • Submit collected cash to the concerned authority at the end of the day and reconcile all payments received.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports to the accounting team and generate monthly and quarterly reports for the reporting authority.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree
  • Understanding of accounting software/ERP such as Oracle/SAP
  • Strong computational skills

  • Ability to work independently without oversight
