Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.
This position involves taking financial data to the next level by reporting it according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for both external and internal distribution.
- As an active member of our monthly group financial closing, consolidation, and reporting process.
- Perform sanity checks to ensure the quality of financial data reported across the group.
- Play a key role in preparing and reviewing internal management reports and external half-year and annual reports.
- Maintain and continuously improve CCH Tagetik, our group reporting and consolidation tool.
- Support legal entities and other stakeholders in accounting and reporting questions and monthly reporting queries.
- Support updates of accounting manual in line with business and IFRS requirements.
- Assess annual IFRS changes and support implementation of new requirements.
- Maintain medmix Delegation of Authority (DOA) and coordinate/execute changes.
- Support international projects and ad-hoc requests.

We are looking for someone with Chartered Accountant or ACCA, CPA qualifications who has a focus on accounting and/or IT.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of working experience in a similar function, ideally in a stock-listed company.
Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and reporting according to IFRS is required.
Extensive experience with CCH Tagetik and/or other group reporting and consolidation tools is necessary.
Strong IT affinity and Excel skills are required along with project management experience.
Pro-active and analytical mindset, attention to details, excellent communication skills, and team spirit are also essential.
