
Branch Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets by achieving product-wise, territory-wise and WSS value and volume sales goals with a customer-centric approach.
- Meet sales objectives by achieving product-wise, TSI territory-wise, and WSS territory-wise value and volume sales targets with a customer-centric approach.
- Achieve range selling targets by implementing the RSI module.
- Identify critical and burning issues affecting branch sales and take immediate action to resolve them.
- Select and appoint WSS as per policy to ensure market servicing doesn't suffer.
- Ensure WSSs service the market with respect to timely order delivery, communicating schemes to dealers, damage collection, and settlement of schemes and gifts as per standards laid down by the division.
- Identify expanding markets and plan for effective coverage by ensuring WSS involvement.
- Train WSS on his scorecard parameters and partner with him to improve his score.
- Implement training programs (including induction, refresher) for WSS as per plan and highlight exceptions to CMG team.
- Monitor WSS in Watch and Critical religiously and ensure actions are taken at this stage itself to avoid a WSS from getting discontinued.
- Monitor and track dealer performance to take corrective action for disconnected, dissatisfied, and disgruntled dealers.
- Increase reach and range of dealers in clusters as per target/module.
- Ensure dealers get due policy benefits - credit extension, damage settlement, credit/trade discount.
- Highlight TSI territory gaps and fill them within stipulated time with Regional HR's help.
- Ensure product, SPPBM induction, refresher training(s) of reports as per laid-down modules with ZTIs' help.
- Act as a coach for TSIs to enhance performance through regular joint market working, making observations, and giving constructive feedback.
- Communicate, execute, and settle schemes in the market.
- Provide qualitative inputs for effective scheme design.
- Utilize allotted scheme budgets to achieve desired sales objectives in coordination with RMs.
- Interact with end users, contractors, dealers, and WSS during market visits.
- Capture and convey feedback/provide inputs to HO on all aspects of business (including product quality, pricing, packing, new product ideas, supply situations, competition activities, and schemes).
- Provide regular feedback on WSS Commercial policies.
- Monitor competition on various aspects such as new offerings, pricing, consumer offers, ATL, BTL activities, supply situations.
- Implement identified initiatives for competition fighting strategy including Consumer connect initiative (if applicable).
- Utilize competition fighting budgets to achieve desired sales objectives in coordination with RMs.
- Support RBDM in execution of cluster BTL objectives.
- Support RBDM in implementation of various field marketing modules (using loyalty program).
- Own and drive new product launch modules, focus products, young products jointly with RBDM.
- Participate in Market development meets, mega meets, and end-user contact programs.
- Sell undesirable inventory within stipulated time lines under various categories like Urgent sell, Must Sell, Partially damaged stock, Stock under discontinuation.
