Transforming underwriting expertise into actionable knowledge is key to our mission.

The role involves developing curricula for non-specialists on underwriting fundamentals: financial obligations, debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value assessments, income stability, and documentation best practices. This includes designing micro-curricula and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with engaging examples, quizzes, checklists, and local-language handouts.

We are looking for a professional who can create quality rubrics, including acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to define data needs from cases, capture missing rules/thresholds, and draft data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.

Championing ethics and privacy is also essential, ensuring personally identifiable information handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.

The successful candidate will have 4–8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation. A proven track record in training or mentorship is required, along with a strong grasp of calculations and documents, including financial obligation ratios, income proofs, bank statements, and credit bureau reports.

Fluency in English is necessary, with proficiency in another language such as Telugu being an asset.
