Healthcare Audit Leader Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform audits, reviews, and compilations under US GAAP and US GAAS guidelines.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of US accounting and reporting standards, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes.
  • Conduct independent research on US GAAP & US GAAS, applying findings to improve audit processes.
  • Primary industry exposure: Healthcare
  • Secondary Industry Exposure: Commercial
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through positive interactions and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and clients on work status and issues, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • CPA (or in process) or CA with 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or US auditing CPA firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including responsiveness to US Offices.
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities are essential.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Approaches projects with a sense of urgency, prioritizing tasks and deadlines.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of Caseware, Caseview, or IDEA is a plus.
