DevOps Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

  • This role involves designing and deploying infrastructure on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS).
  • A strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation is required.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. is also necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and implementing infrastructure on cloud platforms.
  2. Containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
  3. Utilizing IaC tools to manage infrastructure configuration and deployment.
  4. Implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and delivery.
  5. Maintaining monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog for real-time system performance tracking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Version Control: Proficient in using Git and platforms like GitHub.
  • Operating Systems: Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Naming: Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with cloud-based storage solutions such as S3, Azure Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or GDPR.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Lean development.
