Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud development and leadership. This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of scalable platform modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.

  • Design and develop robust cloud-based solutions using AWS and other technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and drive innovation.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Evaluate and implement best practices for security and reliability in cloud-based platforms.
  • Work with senior leaders to establish technical strategy and goals for the engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Python programming and experience with serverless application development, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Demonstrated experience building and shipping high-quality SaaS platforms/applications on AWS, showcasing a portfolio of successful deployments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts, AWS architectural best practices, and familiarity with various AWS services.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex systems for efficiency and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Requirements:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with the AWS Boto3 SDK for Python and exposure to other cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
