Debt Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the collections process, negotiating payment arrangements with clients, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts.

The primary objective of this role is to effectively manage the collections process, minimize bad debt, and maximize cash flow. This requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the collections process for outstanding accounts, including negotiation of payment plans and resolution of disputes.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and client communications.
• Analyze accounts and identify potential issues or trends in collections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations in India.
