Collection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team in India. This individual will be responsible for managing the debt collection process, negotiating payment arrangements with clients, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts.

• Manage and oversee the debt collection process for outstanding accounts.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person to negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes.
• Maintain accurate records of all debt collection activities and client communications.
• Prepare and send out collection letters and notices to clients.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate account information and resolve issues.
• Monitor and report on debt collection progress and outstanding debts to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations in India.
• Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and client information.
