Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned program director to lead large-scale technology initiatives in the payments and transaction banking space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Oversight: Provide strategic direction for the design, architecture, and delivery of complex tech programs.
  • Ensure engineering excellence across Java-based platforms, Microservices, APIs, and integrations.
  • Drive scalability, reliability, and performance of delivered platforms.

Program Management:

  • Oversee multi-stream programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Implement robust program governance, risk mitigation frameworks, and cadence reviews.

Team Guidance:

  • Lead cross-functional technology teams towards high-performing outcomes.
  • Foster innovation, engineering excellence, and team development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with senior stakeholders on technical matters and architecture reviews.
  • Act as a key escalation point for critical technology delivery issues.

Essential Expertise:

  • Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
  • Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale payment systems and transaction platforms.
  • Domain experience in digital payments, platform engineering, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 18+ years of progressive experience in product engineering or fintech transformation.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on exposure to Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, cloud platforms.
