Enterprise Cybersecurity Specialist

At a leading cybersecurity organization, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team as SOC Specialists. As a key member of our SOC team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of enterprise networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in monitoring and analyzing security alerts, as well as incident reporting and forensic analysis. You will be responsible for performing 24x7 monitoring of enterprise networks, analyzing alerts, and managing incidents across multiple systems and technologies.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about cybersecurity and have a strong interest in learning and growing within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including network devices, servers, and applications
  • Perform incident analysis, data collection, and report preparation
  • Develop and maintain Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) automation for customers
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex security issues
Requirements
  • 1-6 years of experience in a SOC environment, preferably in L1 and/or L2 positions
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including threat detection and response, and incident management
  • Proficiency in Linux and scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with tools like GitHub and Git
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in networking and system administration backgrounds who have transitioned into security
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity with demonstrable works or projects
