Key Healthcare Product Manager Role

The Key role is for a seasoned product professional who has a strong understanding of the complexities of healthcare and technology. This person will work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge products that address critical market needs and provide exceptional value to our clients.

As a highly motivated and experienced product owner, you will play a vital role in defining and delivering innovative solutions within the healthcare industry. You will serve as the voice of the customer, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable user stories, and working collaboratively with engineering teams to bring products from concept to launch.

This position requires a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, regulatory landscapes, and common healthcare IT systems. A proven ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions is also essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for healthcare-focused solutions, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Deeply understand market needs, customer pain points, and regulatory requirements within the healthcare domain. Conduct thorough research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to gather comprehensive insights.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the highest value features and epics. Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team. Facilitate effective communication and manage expectations.
  • Participate actively in all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives). Provide guidance and clarification to the development team throughout the sprint cycle.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centric design that meets the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and ensure product features are compliant.
Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Product Owner or a similar product management role, with a significant portion of this experience directly within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, regulatory landscapes, and common healthcare IT systems.
  • Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment. Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, concise, and actionable user stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
