Software Quality Assurance Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a software quality assurance professional. This role involves ensuring the highest level of quality in software development, from testing and validation to collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and Validation: Perform automated testing to guarantee software quality, conduct performance, load, and stress tests.
  • Test Planning and Strategy: Create test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product owners, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure test environments are set up correctly.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects, perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key quality metrics and provide regular updates on test results and defect trends.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and promote best practices in software quality assurance.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Facilitate UAT by coordinating resources and guidance for end-users.
  • Security and Compliance Testing: Conduct security testing and ensure product compliance with industry standards.

Required skills include hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright. Proven track record in creating and executing test plans and strategies, along with experience in performance, load, and stress testing. Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and background in defect management and root cause analysis are also necessary.
